Here you will find out how to make Yahoo your homepage or search engine on the Safari browser.
To start off you will need to open the browser.
Look for the gear icon in the top right hand corner of the screen and click on it. Once the drop down appears, click on the preferences button.
Once in preferences, look for the “General” heading, under that you will see a box with “Homepage” next to it. Simply enter your search engine of choice “Yahoo.com” and you’re away!
Click on the gear icon in the top right hand corner of the browser window.
A drop down box will appear and you can go ahead and click the “Internet Options” button.
The Internet Options control box will appear and this is where you will make your required changes. Make sure the “General” tab is selected and look for the first line of text with a text box underneath. Simply add this URL http://yahoo.com/ and click the “Use Current” button, this should set your default homepage as Yahoo.com.
Look for the orange Firefox drop down menu on the left hand side of your browser and click on it.
Once the menu has dropped, you can look for the options tab and click on it.
Once the options box opens, make sure the “General” tab is selected and look for the “Homepage icon which you can then change your homepage with.
Click on the three little horizontal bars in the top right hand corner of the browser.
Look for the settings button in the drop down and click on it.
Once you’re in the manage search engines area, you can look for the Yahoo search engine and select it as your search engine of choice.
